decorating with paper garlands

We did a little Valentine's decorating...

It was simple enough... I just used some scrap paper that I had from a project I did for Amelia's room and a few ribbons I had lying around in my craft bins. I traced three different sized glasses for the circles and cut out different sized and shaped hearts from construction paper.

And though the garlands have only been up a few days, I'm beginning to think that this house could use a little more pink!

I LOVE them, Kristin! I think you should leave them up all year round. I'm putting mine up and Norm can deal with it!

I'm so enjoying these little glimpses into your home! Of course, I love your bookcase, so stylish and organized. The Valentine's garland is the icing on the cake. The babies are obviously too young to enjoy this festive decorating but they will at some point!

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope that you have a great day and give hugs to the kiddies. And did I see that you are listed as a Top 100 women's blog??? Kristin... that is so excellent. What started as a secret project is now an inspiring, award-winning read for so many women! Congrats. I am feeling so proud for you.
