design inspiration: rustic cottage kitchen

Check out this very cool, very rustic cottage kitchen.

(Torn from one of last summer's issues of House Beautiful)

A charming retreat with bluestone floors, cabinets made from old fencing, and fresh white walls. The vintage industrial pendant lights and old truck springs cum counter stools are a great (and unexpected) contrast to all the old wood.

This is definitely the sort of casual, livable weekend house that beckons you to put your feet up and relax. Aah...

I LOVE how it's made from old fences, and those stools are brilliant!
