design inspiration: fresh flowers

It's simple, really.

Line up baskets filled with bunches of fresh-picked* flowers on a windowsill, and you can brighten up even the grayest of days.

(from House Beautiful)

*Yes, fresh-picked from the grocery store count, too! For those of us still donning snow boots...

  3. It's amazing what fresh flowers can do to a room. Sometimes I look at a photograph of a room I like and I put a finger on the spot where the flowers are to cover them up. The room then turns out to be just OK or even blah!
    Flower Power yay!

    Have a lovely weekend, Kristin!

  4. I always have terrific luck with grocery store flowers. 3 bunches for $10 and they last for over 3 weeks.
